To be weirdly topical, let’s talk hypnosis self-care!

1. Don’t let a stranger hypnotize you online. I really shouldn’t have to tell you that, but don’t. 
2. Hypnosis conducted by a trained therapist or health care professional is considered a safe, complementary and alternative medical treatment. However, hypnosis may not be appropriate in people with severe mental illness. Consider actually talking to an actual doctor about it. 
3. You can apparently hypnotize yourself. Consider not doing so. 
4. And finally, if a doctor is trying to cause you to scream and shake by rubbing your abdomen and inner thighs–that’s not a real doctor.
