The Void Will See You Now 
I once did a show that briefly toured US army bases in Germany. The guy who shepherded us around hated Bob Hope because his shows for the troops were really about making TV specials. They would make the soldiers sit there all day while they slowly filmed the show with lots of dead time while they set the cameras and other tech stuff, and did multiple takes of scenes.
I remember Super bowl 3.
